POET International Congress

We are very pleased to welcome back the International Precision Oncology Congress, which will be held on the 54th Floor of the spectacular venue, the Bow Tower in Calgary, AB on November 20 & 21, 2025.
The POET Congress has been held annually since 2017 with great success. The feedback received from last year’s congress, along with the monthly POET National Virtual Molecular Rounds confirms an increased interest in cutting-edge precision oncology education programs.
The objective of the 2025 International POET Congress is to create a forum for dialogue between oncologists, researchers, biopharma leaders, data analysts and clinical trialists.
Attendees will gain insights from world-renowned scientists on cutting-edge biomarker research, design and execution of precision clinical trials, latest advances in immune-oncology and microbiome research, applications of AI in oncology and the use of liquid biopsies in monitoring disease progression and treatment decision-making.
Program Learning objectives are as follows:
As a result of attending this congress the participant will be able to:
- Identify and interpret emerging multi-omic biomarkers to inform optimal treatment strategies
involving immune-therapeutics and targeted therapies in cancer care. - Apply key principles of precision oncology clinical trial design, including patient stratification,
biomarker-driven enrollment, and adaptive methodologies. - Evaluate the challenges and opportunities in implementing precision oncology within traditional
healthcare systems, including regulatory, infrastructural, and equity considerations.
Accreditation
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
This activity was approved by the Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists for a maximum of 10 hours.
